Pianist Justin Snyder presents I Walk Toward Myself, a solo concert performance moving through the shadowed worlds in Josephine Sacabo's photographic works. Featuring works by Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou and Michael Zev Gordon, the concert program is a meditation on the poetry of time and how music, like photography, holds moments suspended between past and present.
This concert inaugurates Studio Visit, Justin Snyder's new series presenting performances in artists' working spaces. Each installment invites audiences into the private realm of the studio—deeply intimate creative environments where curated musical programs illuminate both the artist's vision and the process behind their work.
The performance will feature The Right to Dream, an exhibition of new work by Josephine Sacabo in tribute to Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou.
